Przemek Kamiński (1989) – dancer, performer and choreographer. He graduated from the BA studies Dance, Context, Choreography at the HZT Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin.
He works in the context of both performing and visual arts. His practice is based on an expanded approach to choreography and unfolds across various formats and media. His works were presented at the Art Stations Foundation in Poznań, HAU Hebbel am Ufer in Berlin, Kunsthalle Zurich, Museum of Art in Łódź, Nowy Teatr in Warsaw, Sophiensaele in Berlin, during PQ Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space or Tanztage Festival in Berlin.
He was a choreographer in residence at the K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg, Workshop Foundation in Budapest, I.C.I./CCN in Montpellier, and within the framework of the Visegrad Artist Residency Program in Budapest. He is a grant holder of institutions and programs including the Fonds Darstellende Künste, the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe, the Institute of Music and Dance, the Alternative Dance Academy at Art Stations Foundation in Poznań and Künstlerhaus Lukas in Ahrenshoop. In 2018–19, he was supported by Performing Arts Program (PAP) Mentoring Program.
He participated in numerous educational and research projects, at the Zurich University of the Arts, Fondazione Antonio Ratti in Como or Tanzwerkstatt w Monachium, among others.
Since 2014, he collaborates on a regular basis with a Berlin-based choreographer Isabelle Schad (as a dancer and assistant). Moreover, he performed in the projects by Juan Dominguez Rojo, Nicole Seiler, Jeremy Shaw, Kirstine Kyhl Andersen, Harakiri Farmers (Dominika Knapik, Wojciech Klimczyk), Wilhelm/Groener, Julian Weber and others.
