Valentyna Batrak – soloist of the Grand Theatre in Łódź. Graduate of State Theatre and Art College in Dnepropetrovsk. In 2001–2004 she danced at the Opera and Ballet Theatre in Dnepropetrovsk, then she moved to Moscow, where for four years she danced at the Imperial Russian Ballet. While dancing for these groups, she took part in pas de trois and princess’ dance in 3rd Act of Swan Lake, variations of Wilida in Giselle, variations of the friend in Don Quixote, solo, prelude and pass de trois in Chopinniana, parts of Clara and oriental dance in The Nutcracker, variations of the fairies in The Sleeping Beauty, solo The Dying Swan and others.
In 2009 she was engaged by the ballet group of the Grand Theatre in Łódź. In Łódź, she danced in: The Promised Land (as Anka), opera The Marksman (as Samiel’s alter ego), Swan Lake (as Odette / Odile and Spanish Princess) and in Contact (as the Girl in Yellow Dress).
