People of dance

Wiktor Dawydiuk – a soloist of the Grand Theatre in Poznań. He graduated from the Secondary Ballet School in Kharkiv and Byelorussian Secondary School of Choreography. He studied with Azimov Uran. Already as a ballet student he made a huge success in concerts and competitions for young dancers. He won 2^nd prize of the Serge Lifar International Ballet Competition in Kiev (Ukraine, 2006) and 3^rd prize of the International Ballet Competition in Sochi (Russia, 2006). In August 2007 he was engaged as a ballet soloist at the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk. Six months later he moved to Poznań to work also as a ballet soloist. His dance is marked by elegance and precision; he has great jumping and acting abilities. He plays many leading parts in the repertoire of the group: Prince inThe Nutcracker , Footman in Swan Lake, James wThe Sylph, Danceny wThe Dangerous Liaisonsand solo parts in contemporary choreographies.
