The Belgrade Institute for Contemporary Dance, the first higher education institution for ballet, contemporary dance, and choreography, has officially commenced the academic year on the 22nd of September 2014. The Institute is equipped with a wide range of facilities including a fully equipped studios with sprung floor, a library with a wide range of literature and video recordings of classical and contemporary productions, a gym, sauna and massage rooms.
Faculty members include Maciej Kuźmiński who leads workshops of contemporary dance (Floor Work, Dynamic Phrasing i Limón-Based Release), Joelle Mazet for seminars on methodology in classical ballet and Masa Kolar, for contemporary dance and choreography.
