On 30 October (7 pm), the Polish Dance Theatre will wrap up its tour of five European capitals at the A4 ? Space for Contemporary Culture in Bratislava, Slovakia, where it the company will present its performance The Harvest.

 

A4 ? Space for Contemporary Culture is a multifunctional, non-commercial cultural centre in the heart of Bratislava. It collaborates with independent artists, including choreographers, inviting companies and soloists for guests performances. Oriented towards developing and presenting new pieces, as well as educating people in contemporary dance arts, music, and film, A4 also actively pursues creative research in visual arts and new media. The centre is Bratislava?s only venue to regularly render its space available for practising contemporary dance, physical theatre, and performing arts. A4 has been host to presentations by the Contemporary Dance Association and artists from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands.

 

After Berlin, Minsk, Vilnius, and Riga, Bratislava is the fifth European capital toured by the Polish Dance Theatre as part of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute?s programme ?Cultural Bridges,? implemented within the frame of the Multiannual Programme NIEPODLEGŁA 2017-2021, financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
