On Saturday, 11 February 2017, Warsaw hosted the 1st edition of Polish pre-selections for the Grand Prix de Paris? Competition. After due consideration, the Jury, comprised by Jacek Przybyłowicz, Elżbieta Pańtak, Magdalena Ciechowicz, Karol Urbański, Dominik Muśko, Ewa Głowacka, Daniel Agesilas, Cathy Bisson and Paul Vaudeville, selected the following three finalists:
Hanna Szychowicz ? ?Young Talents? category, contemporary dance
Gento Yoshimoto ? ?Young Professionals? category, classical dance
Viktoria Nowak ? ?Young Professionals? category, contemporary dance
The Jury also decided to make an additional selection for the Grand Prix de Paris? finals:
Szymon Hawryszko ? ?Young Professionals? category, contemporary dance.
Grand Prix de Paris ?Let?sDANCE?? in collaboration with the Institute of Music and Dance, provide the three of pre-selected artists with airline tickets and accommodation in Paris throughout the Grand Prix de Paris finals, which will take place on 11 March 2017 at Grande Halle de la Villette.

Grand Prix de Paris ?Let?sDANCE?? is an international competition enabling young professional dancers aged 18-26 to perform in front of a jury comprising choreographers, directors of theatres, operas and dance companies, thus opening new professional opportunities (?Young Professionals? category). The Competition also includes a section for younger, talented dancers aged 14-17 (?Young Talents? category).
Competition partners: Institute of Music and Dance, Fondation Rudolf Noureev, Fondation Serge Lifar, Centre National de la Danse and Institut francais de Pologne.
