New website section: 100 Years of The Rite of Spring

Visit the new section of our website devoted to the 100^th anniversary of the world premiere of Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring in Vatslav Nijinsky’s choreography, which took place on 29 May 1913 at Théâtre des Champs Élysées in Paris.

The section will offer brief news about the anniversary events in Poland; after you click “more” you will be redirected to more detailed descriptions in our Events section. The upcoming events are the premiere of The Rite of Spring in Angelin Preljocaj’s choreography at the Kielce Dance Theatre on 16 March, and the extraordinary Stravinsky’s Evening, opening the 8^th Spring Festival in the last weekend of April.
