From Wednesday, 8 May to Friday, 10 May, Poznań will be hosting Laten we dansen(“Let’s Dance”), a review of the contemporary dance scene of the Netherlands and Flanders, presented by the Art Stations Foundation / Stary Browar Nowy Taniec [Old Brewery New Dance]. The event is one of the offerings of the Month of Dutch Language Culture. The dance scene of the Netherlands and Flanders has been one of the most prominent in Europe for many years now. Poznań has had a chance to appreciated it many times before. Dutch choreography is characteristic for its focus on pure movement and dancing of the highest standard. Laten we dansen embraces three nights of performances from young Dutch choreographers offering a glimpse at the directions in which the dance scene in the Netherlands and Flanders is developing. The audience will have a change to enjoy choreographies by Etienne Guilloteau, Charlotte Vanden Eynde, Arno Schuitemaker and Tian Rotteveel.
