As prescribed by the regulations of the 3rd call for proposals of study visits of Polish choreographers in Philadelphia, USA, on 14 April 2014 Julia Hoczyk, representing the Institute of Music and Dance, and Joanna Leśnierowska, representing the Art Stations Foundation, selected three successful applications out of nine submitted. The winners are Irena Lipińska, Agata Siniarska and Marysia Zimpel.

The selected choreographers will take part in a two-week study visit combined with an artistic residency in Philadelphia. The selection was made based on formal criteria (date of submission, formal correctness, and compliance with the call?s regulations) and content, namely correspondence between the proposal?s objectives and the place and formula of the visit, proposed exchange as regards choreographic practice, and workshop delivery.
In 2014 the programme offers: a study visit in Philadelphia for Polish choreographers, complete with admission to dance performances of the Live Arts/Philly Fringe Festival, access to a studio to undertake individual work and opportunity to participate in available dance classes in Philadelphia (optionally, subject to arrangements with American partners and their capabilities), chances to enter into dialogue with the local dance community, accommodation and full board. Time: two weeks between 19 September and 5 October 2014.
Polish choreographers will visit Philadelphia for the third time already. The exchange project is implemented by the Institute of Music and Dance in Warsaw in collaboration with the Art Stations Foundation (Poznań) and Dance/USA Philadelphia (www.danceup.org). The visits revolve around the events of the Live Arts/Philly Fringe Festival (www.livearts-fringe.org).
