It is the sixth time already that Fundacja Balet and Opera na Zamku present the International Ballet Contest “Golden Pointe Shoes”, which this year also constitutes the 12th edition of the Polish National Ballet Competition for the Best Ballet School Graduate in Poland. The contest will take place on 24-26 April 2013 in Szczecin (Opera na Zamku, ul. Korsarzy 3). This year the contestants will include graduates of five Polish ballet schools as well as young dancers form Minsk, Belarus; Vilnius, Lithuania; Berlin, Germany; and Prague, the Czech Republic.

24 April 2013 Day One of Competition: Classical Dance 5-8 pm – Competition
25 April 2013 Day Two of Competition: Contemporary Dance 5-8 pm – Competition
26 April 2013 The Finals 6-9 pm 2013 International Ballet Stars Gala
Guest of the Gala:Kaori Fukui and Jun Tamabe – Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, USA; Valeriya Vapniarskaya and Konstantin Geronik – soloists of the Belarusian State Choreographic School in Minsk, Belarus; Kyoka Okuyama and Glauber Lucas Mendes Silva – Staatliche Balletschule Berlin, Germany; Anna Knollov, Jakub Rasek – Tanecni konzervator hl.m. Prahy, the Czech Republic; and students of the Ballet School of Lodz, Poland.
