Artistic Foundation PERFORM

Artistic Foundation Fundacja [Fundacja Artystyczna PERFORM] focuses on promoting performance art. It was set up as a new platform for independent, creative, innovative, as well as emerging artists, dealing with dance, theatre, music, and visual performance. The foundation’s mission is to act for contemporary art to be presented professionally, considering both artistic and organisational aspects, in Poland and abroad. It also sees to encourage new projects of social importance and usefulness for the development of art and culture in Poland and abroad.

Since 2013 the foundation has been expanding its scope of operations, and consequently its membership. As a platform for artistic actions and collaborations, PERFORM is also developing as regards its organisation and promotional activities. Its members put emphasis on ensuring that everybody who works with the foundation shares its mission and vision, and acts out of passion and personal involvement when they engage in contacts with a multitude of interesting figures in Poland and abroad, and implement projects of social significance and usefulness for the development of art and culture in Warsaw.

Currently, the foundation gathers: Paulina Święcańska (president, artistic director); Małgorzata Gajdemska (member and manager); Olga Lidia Kozłowska (PR specialist); Przemek Todorowicz (graphic designer and webmaster).

The foundation’s collaborators are: Iwona Olszowska, Leszek Bzdyl, Magdalena Radłowska, Małgorzata Antonina Pianowska, Małgorzata Gajdemska, Milan Kozánek, Olga Lidia Kozłowska, Ray Chung, Richard & Malaika Sarco-Thomas and Simone Malone.
