The main goal of “Centrum Tańca Współczesnego” (Centre of Contemporary Dance) Foundation (president: Jacek Tyski, members: Karol Urbański, Zbigniew Czapski) is to establish in Warsaw a Centre of Contemporary Dance: a specific location and building, in which dance projects could be carried out and artistic experiments in contemporary dance and performing/audiovisual/multimedia art could be held. The Centre would also run educational and publishing activities. The foundation combines artistic and educational activities, producing dance performances and performing art projects (e.g. Kolumbowie tańca – 2007) as well as regular dance workshops and theoretical classes (e.g. Contemporary Dance School in collaboration with the Bemowo Culture Centre and contemporary dance workshops in collaboration with the Służew Community Centre).
