Grupa Przejściowa – a contemporary dance group founded in 2001 in Białystok, formed by Karolina Garbacik, the group’s main choreographer. When founded, the group was intended as a temporary project, aimed at integration of local dancers to create a one-off art event. As time passed there emerged a need for the group to do regular activities.
Grupa Przejściowa consists of dancers with backgrounds in various types of movement. In the group they have the opportunity to use and improve their dance skills in the fields of contemporary, classical and jazz dance. Through this the artists create a specific quality, both in the field of movement (choreography) and in the development of characters.
