Magdalena Kowala – is a dancer and translator from Spanish and Catalan. She was born in Poznań, where she began dancing under the watchful eye of the dancer and choreographer Piotr Bańkowski. Together with the other members of the group, she created projects combining hip-hop with contemporary dance on the stage of the Zamek Cultural Centre in Poznań.

She is obsessed with the Israeli dance world where the language of the movement Gaga comes from, which she admires and practice whenever there is an opportunity. She participated in Hasadna Summer Bites (Tel Aviv), GagaLab Winter (Tel Aviv) and Gaga Intensive (London). Additionally, her teachers include Jean Claude Marignale, Charlie Morrisey, Rita Gobi, Natalia Iwaniec, Nir de Volff, Adi Weinberg, Irad Mazliah, Manuel Badás, Blazej Peszek, Sharon Eyal, Keren Luria Pardes, Gon Biran, Ofir Yehudalevich, Shuli Enush, Oded Graf &Yossi Berg, Shahar Binyamini, Michal Sayfan, Ohad Naharin, Ian Robinson, Rachael Osborne, Adi Zlatin.

After moving to Gdańsk, she participated in SYS 212 project of the Sopot Dance Theatre and in performances with Znak Theatre: MY _SZY, Hopeless Portraits. Since 2019, she has been a co-founder of the Hertz Haus company together with Anna Zglenicka, Natalia Murawska and Joanna Woźna.

In 2019, together with Joanna Woźna, she created the duo 102 and a Half, which won the main prize and the audience prize at the SzólóDuó 2020 Festival in Budapest in 2019 and the first place at the MY MOVE 2020 Choreographic Competition in Tarnów.
